Ok ok ok... so a couple exciting things have been happening to me as of late:

1) My computer stopped working for about two months... In this time I had gotten my brothers 5 year old laptop to start working again for about a week and a half... and then it stopped working again.

2) Despite my computer not working I've gotten some excellent pictures taken, which now that I have a working computer, I will upload them after I complete this journal.

3) I installed the game Age of Mythology to my computer... I haven't played any other game since.

4) I got a C on a paper I worked on for a month because I missed a week of school with the flu and my teacher refused to give me an extension. (what's ironic is, this is the first year I've gotten the flu shot, and this is the first time I've ever gotten the flu... I had a high fever four days straight and it sucked like no other sickness I've ever experienced)

5) I FINALLY purchased the book Paper Towns by John Green, which I've wanted to read for months... I also convince my mom to help me buy some of his other books: An Abundance of Katherines, Looking for Alaska, and Let it Snow. I just read the prologue of Paper Towns for the millionth time, because the prologue was the only part of it I could find online... but I just read the prologue for reals.

6) My i-pod went through the washer and dryer.

After I did this journal I had about 200 deviation updates to look through and comment... I believe I did this journal around 11:45 pm... it is now 2:07 am... now I'm starving because I haven't left this chair for two hours and some odd minutes... Those dev updates were sitting in my inbox for a couple days... I was just too lazy to check them... now to go read more Paper Towns

Well...

My computer hasn't been working for a couple weeks... and it's been a relief to finally get my brother's old laptop working so I could finally get on DA...

Ugh.. why do people post so many journals? I have 54 things in my inbox currently (I used to have 73 before I just cleaned it... but I'm too lazy to complete cleaning it out)
You know how many of those were journals?
There were 53 journals over the period of three weeks. and now that I've cleaned it out there's still 44 journals that I refuse to read just yet... because I'm a PROCRASTINATOR!

I also had 167 Deviation updates... :sigh:


I have a bunch of lovelies in my camera waiting to be uploaded... but I can't find my USB camera cord... so that's out the window. I've also been sick for a while... and my friends are going through a rough time so I've really had no time to draw anything because I'm a dork!

I meant to draw some gift art for people... now that I can pretend I know how to draw... but I never got around to it because I was so busy Christmas shopping for my family and finishing school and... Maybe I can draw some after Christmas and give them as belated Christmas present... I donno

Just wanted to say happy holidays!! I probably won't get a chance to say it to everyone tomorrow... I'll be too busy drinking eggnog and opening presents and for and all those people in the southern hemisphere it's YOUR Christmas today! So Merry Christmas!

I just finished Death Note (there will be no spoilers it's ok) and I must say I hate the ending. I'm disappointed that such a brilliant show can't have a brilliant ending. *fuming*

Woo! Just updated after like two months XD I'm pathetic. I haven't started water coloring yet but I've sketched a couple things... I don't like them so you won't see them on here... I'm going to wait until I am a little better at this whole "art" thing.

I just witnessed my first case of art theft. I've never seen it myself... only heard of it happening. I didn't believe how much it angered me. I'm not on myspace often, but I'm glad I was on this time, because I saw an update from one of my friend's exes saying all these pictures were uploaded.

And I happened to recognize this picture: [link] which was done by . I didn't have the right to judge if she was claiming them or just a "oh these pictures are cool I'll put them on my myspace" kinda thing. So I commented on the Lyanti picture saying "Did you draw this?", giving her a chance to come clean, and she said "Yes! Do you like it? Do you want me to draw more?" and I felt like I was about to vomit I was so angry. And I knew that this wasn't Lyanti herself, because I also found more art stolen from and in her pictures. I sent her a message telling her to remove the pictures immediately, and shortly afterwards I noticed a bulletin she had posted.

The subject line read "My drawings" and I almost threw a brick at the screen. It read that some people were wanting to buy "her" art. She didn't say much after that but it seemed that she was very willing to sell art that wasn't hers. I sent her another message telling her to send messages to the people who want to buy the art and give them links to the REAL artists immediately and tell them that it was NOT your art. I'm glad I was on when I was... or else I would have missed this art theft and she would be making money as we speak.

sorry for the rambling.. just had to get it off my chest.
She has still not removed the images or replied my messages telling me she will... and I'm getting very frustrated and angry. I guess I should get used to it... I mean, art theft happens every day.
